Shelter for Arinziki and her Grandmother

Ariniziki, a 23yrs old girl lives with her blind grandmother in a small, leaking hut in the village of Namiyagi. Ariniziki has epilepsy and experiences seizures, but she’s fortunate to be receiving medication to manage her condition. Despite this support, Arinziki’s life is still marked by struggle. Her grandmother, though loving, relies on Ariniziki and well-wishers for care due to her blindness. Their hut is in disrepair, with a leaky roof and inadequate necessities. Arinziki’s basic needs are not fully met. She often goes hungry, wears tattered clothing, and lacks access to proper hygiene facilities. Her grandmother’s care is invaluable, but they’re both in need of additional support. Arinziki’s story highlights the challenges faced by many individuals with disabilities in rural areas. She requires: clothing and essential household items, improved shelter and hygiene facilities, continued access to epilepsy medication and food items. Together we can improve their livelihood.
